WARM GRID

2018

Using an endoscope and a model train figurine perched on my tongue, I turned my mouth into a talk show set in order to talk to a best friend a year after he died. While he was alive, we had boasted to each other about the amazing eulogies we would have given each other if one of us died first. I bring him up to speed on the circumstances of his death, and how the funeral went. After delivering my eulogy, I tell him about my first year without him. Then I swallow him, along with a small stone I found in Arizona, where I had moved while taking a year off from school due to grief.

I love you Jeremy
